As a Requirements Engineer within the Requirements Management team you will be responsible to ensure that all input requirements necessary for further software development (i.e. for functions expected to be implemented/delivered by TCMS-Train Control Management Systems) are specified, reviewed and approved. This will form the basis of further development artefacts such as software design, architecture and test specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for managing, maintaining and version control of the requirements to feed into the delivery of the design project on time;

• Ensure the application of the standard Requirements Management Process;

• Master the tools used in the Project environment;

• Ensure consistency and completeness of the requirement specification;

• Ensure unambiguity of specified requirements by collaborating with the wider development and architecture team;

• Establish and maintain traceability among the requirements;

• Develop and maintain the requirement documents.


Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science;

• Proven professional experience within the field of systems engineering or requirements engineering is desirable;

• Understanding of software systems;

• Preferrable to have working experience with any database management tool that supports different views, baselines and configuration control functionalities;

• Background in software development represent a plus;

• Understanding of the overall role of the system and the environment of application is desirable;

• Preferrable to have International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE- FL) – Foundation Level and higher;

• The ability to work closely and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
