Vacancy description

The chosen candidate will be working towards a Higher Apprenticeship whilst working at Bombardier.

The role will involve working in the Test Department of Bombardier providing:

• Testing support to the manufacturing processes

• Mechanical parts meet specification

• Electrical parts meet specification

• Wiring diagnostic work

• Fault finding work

• Inspection support to the manufacturing processes

• Working with drawings

• Punctual, hardworking, loyal, ambitious, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Desired qualifications

Full BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (120 or 180 credits) or A Level Grade C and above in Maths and Science.

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering with a full BTEC Diploma.

Minimum GCSE grade B/6 in maths and grade C/4 in English.

Future prospects

After successful completion of their Apprenticeship there is an opportunity of full time employment.

Things to consider

Must be able to get to the employer premises on a daily basis and to our training centre for the technical training.

Annual wage: £13,000.00
