What are your contributions to the team?

•    Focus on day-to-day tasks related to managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and applications.
•    Deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms.
•    Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning of compute, storage, network, and security.
•    Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
•    Collaborating with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
•    Analysis of cloud systems to ensure they meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
•    Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security issues and respond to incidents or alerts.
•    Monitor budgeted cloud costs and work with value stream services for cost optimization proposals
•    Implement and manage cloud-based backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
•    Work with development teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure and applications are designed and deployed to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
•    Collaborate with internal solutions architects, vendor partners, other IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets their needs and requirements.
•    Assist in the develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. 
•    Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. 
 

How to thrive in this role?

•    You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field
•    You have 5+ years professional experience in an IT role 
•    You hold certification(s) in AWS cloud solution foundations
•    You have experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
•    You have experience with cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, network, and security.
•    You have experience with cloud-native application development, including the use of microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
•    You have a functional familiarity with cloud-based security concepts, such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
•    You have a functional familiarity with infrastructure management, identity management, virtualization and hosted services
•    You have a functional understanding of cloud based automation and management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
•    You are familiar with cloud security and compliance best practices.
•    You are familiar with monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based systems.
•    Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
•    You have experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
•    You have good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•    You are proficiency in English and French both verbally and written.
