ITSM Hardware Asset Manager

In your role, you will

• Create or update Client's Operational Book and Asset Repository in Bombardier Aviation’s ITSM tool suite for asset records.
• Validate asset information provided from an approved Change System Service Request, Task and/or Work Order submitted by the different platform teams
• Identify the disposal assets list and provide the details to service integration management team to obtain the approval from Bombardier Aviation.
• Responsible to control each asset from initial creation (such as receipt from suppliers) through all life cycle events (such as change of location, transfer of ownership, change of use until eventual retirement or disposal.
• Create Asset related dashboards , reports in ServiceNow.
• Responsible to identify, collect, maintain, control, and report inventory information about IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Generate asset sample required physical audits.
• Provides individual site sample files to the designated contact for each geographical location.
• Compile sample results and generate a final aggregate report for Inventory Validation.
• Perform root cause analysis in case of deviations from Physical Audits and generate a reconciliation action plan as part of Inventory Validation.
• As necessary for new record additions (creations), perform the research to identify where the assets came from and how they were introduced into the environment. Provide research and relevant evidence to the service integration management team to coordinate with Bombardier Aviation for review and approval (or rejection) to add the new assets to the hardware baseline.
• Populate the Template (Bulk Upload of Assets in Repository) and upload it upon approval.
• Responsible for internal coordination to capture data and prepare for audit
• Responsible to execute requested audit activity (Floor to Book and Book to Floor, Wall to Wall, Spot Checks, physical inventory count and other such activities as requested) and provide RCA & post review from governance, implement corrective actions
• Maintain Asset Records from Change, IMAC, Break/Fix Activities with mandatory attributes
• Asset samples provided by service level management process team for Physical Audits must be maintained with agreed SLA's.
• Perform Quality Assurance to keep data current and accurate.

As our ideal candidate

• You have 5 years of hands-on experience as an ITSM Hardware Asset manager working with AMDB in ServiceNow.
• You have good knowledge of Database, servers, storage, Network, IT services. 
• You have a University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degrees 
• You have good knowledge of CMDB, SAM applications & modules in ServiceNow.
• You have ServiceNow CIS-Hardware asset management certification preferred.
• You have outstanding communication skills – Written and Verbal, in English and/or French
• You have expertise on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
