What are your contributions to the team?
- Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Creating reports, presentations, and other materials that communicate complex data and insights to a non-technical audience.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes, policies, and programs that enhance the organization's operations.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Developing and maintaining governance structures, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with strategic projects and initiatives, and ensuring that appropriate risk management protocols are in place.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the progress of strategic initiatives, including any challenges and opportunities that arise.
- Manage the flow of indirect goods and services (IGS) purchase requests.
- Analyze Indirect Goods purchase requests; including reviewing documents to validate the accuracy of the requests.
- Monitor spend to ensure cost control and generate cost-saving plans.
- Participate in various strategic initiatives as an internal consultant.
- Ensure the respect of BA IGS procurement and policies and train the various teams if needed.
- Assist senior leaders by preparing PowerPoint presentations and help run meetings.
- Communicate the status of the IGS purchase requests to the various BA facilities and collaborate with them, for any inquiries they may have related to IGS.
How to thrive in this role?
- You are enrolled in a first or second cycle program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- You have strong organizational and analytical skills with a good attention to detail
- You have a strong knowledge of Office 365 tools
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI
- You are a skilled communicator and can work under tight deadlines.
- You are process oriented
- You speak and write English and French fluently
- You are available for an extension or a longer internship if needed( 8 months preferred )

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
