About the role:

For our location in Hennigsdorf in Germany we are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (m / f)

Main activities

• Focus on preparing the offers

• Responsible for LCC and Design for Maintenance Engineering work including adherence to scheduling and cost targets as well as technical goals

• Analysis of relevant customer requirements

• Assessment of the risks associated with customer requirements

• Developing the appropriate LCC and maintenance strategies in close collaboration with the other functions: bid engineering, system engineers, documentation, bid management, legal,

• Build a suitable LCC model for the offer.

• Creation of the offer documents

• Participation in the bid governance process for internal approval

• Definition of LCC and maintenance requirements for the different systems

• Supervision of internal and external suppliers together with systems engineering and validation of suppliers' documents

• Product responsibility for entire vehicle groups to ensure the consistency between offers

• Analysis and development of technical proposals to optimize and increase the competitiveness of the product


• Completed university education as an engineer for electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle technology or aerospace engineering OR industrial engineer

• In-depth knowledge in the area of ​​RAM / LCC or RAM / LCC engineer additional training

• Fluent in English and German

• Optional: Experience in rail vehicle technology, especially in the area of ​​maintenance and servicing of traction vehicles

• Basic understanding of contract law

• Experience in the bidding process is an advantage
