Project Change Manager, Berlin DE

The Project Change Manager has operational responsibility and mandate for the successful implementation and execution of the Change Management related activities on one or several projects in the BT Product Family.

Role responsibilities:

•Chair the project specific Change Implementation Board (CIB) to ensure a performing implementation phase in line with the Configuration Management Strategy and Projects objectives.

•Cross functional alignment on Change Implementation Plan

•Ensure that Change Orders are being completed according to plan (multi-functional macro planning approach)

•Ensure detailed change implementation meetings in operations are in place, efficient and exhaustive.

•Ensure that all functions are sufficiently staffed to support all phases of the process (Change coordinators).

•Measure performance of the process and report to Project Core Team in case of structural weaknesses. Define corrective actions with impacted functions and monitor these actions.

•Ensure Change Management is fully integrated with Contract Management (VOs, Charge back, link with requirements and potential claims)

•Ensure robust application of the Configuration Management strategy in the change management process.

•Lead the Change coordinators nominated by the functions (dotted line management)

•Communicate any potential weakness in the process execution to other functions. Influence and lead resolution plans.

Qualifications

University/Polytechnic Degree in any of Mechanical Engineering/Project Management/Business Management, or equivalent (e.g. training/education in BT).

•Typically 3 – 5 years of experience in a role linked to the change management process

•Profound understanding of Change Management (GRP-000450), and its main related processes such as Requirements Management and configuration management.

•Entry level with some but limited experience in project management.

•Expert knowledge in the practices of Change Management

•Good knowledge and understanding of BT Tool landscape (PDM, SAP, Maximo, CCT) and corresponding flow of data.

•Good knowledge in Configuration Management and Requirements Management

•Fluent English language skills
