We are currently looking to recruit for a Project Performance Manager

(m/f) at our location in Hennigsdorf, Germany

The Project Performance Manager supports the deployment of Bombardier Performance Management within one of our major CEC ROS projects.

Recognized as the right-hand of the Project Manager, the Project Performance Manager supports him on obtaining a proper visibility of the project status through establishment and tracking of relevant set of cross functional KPIs and lead of the associated progress reviews with the functions. The Project Performance manager enables and proposes to the PM possible scenarios or actions plans in case of deviation to the project agreed targets.

He or she co-ordinates performance with all upstream global functions (PM, ENG, MET,PROC, OPS (METH)…), as well as with customer and consortium and is part of the Project Core team.

The Project Performance Manager ensures deployment and implementation of standard PM processes and governance within the project and is responsible of a flawless execution of project gates reviews.

He/she supports Project manager of the assigned project(s) on specific tasks requiring strong cross functional leadership for internal or external purposes: management and negotiation of variation orders with customer, transfer of technology, train captain missions, creation and driving specific task forces on critical issues. Also, he/she leads the project financial performance thought management of Risk and Opportunities activities within the project, ensures proper cross functional coordination project.

Your tasks:

• Driving cross-functional teams in order to deliver project commitments and targets;

• Implement and monitor project score cards and KPIs and drive the related progress reviews with the functions;

• Ensure proper implementation and application of BT PM standard process and governance within the project;

• Support the Project Manager to drive internal and external management reviews: Project Core Team meeting, Consortium reviews, Customer Steecos, internal Project reviews to management etc;

• Drive risks, opportunities and contingency for the project and track financial performance;

• Ensure performance management systems (PPRS, sales force) are updated and pull or consolidate reports to bring visibility of the project status on different areas of the execution (use portfolio dashboard);

• Assist resource management within his/her project(s);

• Providing support to CEC PMO organization on specific central and regional tasks related to the regional business performance;

• Supporting continuous improvement of BT processes within PM community scope vs QTC

Criteria based on the experience acquired within the project;

• Contribute to the analysis of any Performance issue & improvement within CEC PM community

and recommendations thereof.

Qualifications

• Master Level (Engineering or Business Administration);

• Education in Business and Project Management education (PMP, Prince 2) is an asset;

• 5-8 years of experience in a relevant role (working experience either in Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement, Bids, Sales, or Finance);

• Performance Management on industrial site, procurement, engineering or project is a strong

Asset;

• Extensive knowledge of performance management;

• Knowledge of: dashboard / Scorecard principles and techniques, lean management principles, software such as SAP, PDM, Primavera, Salesforce;

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and analytical tools (OLAP, SQL,…) is an asset;

• Advanced knowledge of Excel;

• English full professional proficiency; German knowledge would be a plus.
