Join us as a Software Developer and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Hennigsdorf, Germany.

The primary purpose of the Software Developer role is to elaborate and maintain software within the TCMS Products (including the Talent 3 train control function).

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Safety and non-safety critical software development

- Write/update technical requirements specification

- Write/correct source code

- Ensure that the code is properly stored and built in the configuration management environment

- Ensure quality measures for the source code (design, peer reviews of code, static code analysis, unit/component tests)

- Document test results (informal/formal)

- Support test team and the functional core team

Qualifications

- Education required: Bachelor or Master of Informatics or Electronical Engineering

- Experience in the railway industry is an advantage

- Knowledge in standardization of software development processes

- Knowledge in software development lifecycles

- Relevant programming language: C/C++/C#

- Software development models as per IEC 61131-3

- Good knowledge using Microsoft Office

- Good written and oral English and German language skills
