The Power Technician is responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and associated equipment, i.e., power systems, propulsion substations, building and station power systems, uninterruptible power supplies and associated cabling. The technician will perform preventitive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. Perform in-depth troubleshooting & repair of faults in electrical systems using test equipment. Intrepret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, drawings. Complete work tasks according to industry standards and approved work procedures, required to account for time and materials used and follow Company and safety policies. Required to work shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays.

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Specialized technical training in electrical/electronics/mechanic to the technician level from a recognized instution. A valid driver license. willing and physically able to work in all types of weather. Ability to perform essential functions of position with or without accommodation. SIDA badge required.
