Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.

In your role, you will:

• Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate workload and oversee job assignments for employees in assigned area.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and expertise to employees in assigned area to promote acquisition of job proficiency.
• Perform PMP/PDP evaluations of employees in assigned area and apprise employees of performance levels for day-to-day assignments.
• Monthly financial reporting and reconciliation (timely closing of books and completion of monthly reconciliations)
• Ensuring completion of legal entity financial reporting requirements by country
• Timely completion of taxation / VAT reporting and filing requirements
• Coordinate & support Financial Planning and Analysis (annual budgeting process, annual strategic planning process, quarterly forecast process)
• Report and analyze monthly and quarterly business unit financial results.
• Perform detailed review of all accounting and/or financial reports & schedules issued to outside parties
• Coordinate accounting and/or financial requirements / changes with finance, management and other sites.
• Develop financial models to support business unit projects.
• Provide Finance support and increase financial acumen within operations.
• Process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Maintain and implement internal controls over financial reporting
• Travel: 10-20% (as needed)


As our ideal candidate,

• You have solid business sense and negotiations capabilities
• You have the ability to interact with operations managers, corporate groups, executive members, and external partners
• You have knowledge of SAP
• You have a bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and have ten (10) years of relevant experience. You also hold a professional accountant designation
• You have excellent technical and analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information.
• You have an interest in the improvement and development of business processes.
• You have an innovative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills and you are able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
