Based in Los Angeles, California you will report to the General Manager. You will have the principal responsibility for leading, managing and coordinating the Contractor's performance for Rail Infrastructure maintenance and support services - track, structures, right-of-way, facilities, flagging/RWIC, environmental services and non-revenue equipment for the basic service as well as rehabilitation/capital and third-party support programs.

In your role you will:

- Support the effort to provide Work Directive Proposals specifically for the categories for track, structure, right of way including assisting in the development of scope, schedule and cost estimates when WD are requested by the Authority;
- Lead the effort through its managers and supervisors to ensure the Authority’s and Contractor’s non-revenue specialized MoW fleet is expanded, overhauled kept in a State of Good Repair and maintained;

- Work closely and collaboratively with the AGM Information Technology and the AGM Procurement/Inventory Subcontracted Support services to achieve a highly efficient, streamlined, easily tracked and retrieved digital paperless working business environment with the Authority.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field;
- You have fifteen (15) years of broad and deep, progressively responsible Contractor or Class 1 Railroad progressively responsible experience ultimate reaching Division Signal/Communication Engineer, Division Signal/Communication Maintenance Manager level covering most facets of planning, budgeting, inspecting, maintaining, rehabilitating, constructing invoicing, material procurement, reporting, cost containment for a client preferably commuter railroad or Class 1;
- You have prior experience that demonstrates accomplishments that enhanced efficiency, accuracy, reliability, timeliness and regarded among peers as a Railroad infrastructure maintenance subject matter expert;
- You are proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Programs, rail systems maintenance and train control/signal system software and applications, Enterprise Asset Management/Enterprise Resource Management software and applications to Rail Systems and support facilities.
