Based in Los Angeles, California you will report to the General Manager for Mobilization. You will have the principal responsibility for directing and coordinating the Contractor's performance to mobilize and successfully make a smooth transition to the new Contract Services under the obligations of this Agreement.

In your role you will:

- Serve as Contractor’s liaison with the Authority primarily its Contract Manager and must be available to attend Authority Board meeting if required;
- Exemplify the Authority's values and must communicate those values to the entire Contractor team and must spend essentially full time in Southern California during the mobilization process;
- Work with public agencies railroads that operate with commuter rail service as a host and tenant interface with freight railroads and intercity passenger railroads and must be able to manage the mobilization scope, schedule and budget under budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or related field;
- You have 30 years of broad and deep, progressively responsible experience covering most facets of railroad operations;
- You have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Programs and use these tools to establish meaningful key performance metrics, monitor and make decisions based on facts and trends;
- You have prior experience that demonstrates accomplishments that enhanced safety, efficiency, reliability,customer service and stakeholder satisfaction thru proactive management and leadership of staff, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors in a Public Environment.
