ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maximo Development and Maintenance Function:
• Administration of the software application consists of Maximo, including; provision of user’s support, modification of report formats, modification of workflows, and enhancement of functionalities and applications
• Regularly meet with Engineers, Shift supervisor and technicians to collate usage feedback and identify any specific additional requirements
• Provide training, support and guidance on Maximo, especially for newly developed applications and functionalities on the outcome of any configuration changes
• Implement appropriate changes in the system configuration and programming scripts to fulfil any changes in the Clients’ needs or requirements
•Assist the O&M section in understanding the maintenance demand, as defined within the Maximo , by providing regular preventative/corrective maintenance demand reports into the sections.

Material Planning and Forecasting Functions

• Manage inventory for the APM Site
• Forecast material requirement for APM maintenance
• Assist the SDC Manager with Material Management issues
• Transport material in and out of location

Logistic Support Function

• In charge of controlling warehouse facilities
• Assist the SDC Manager in planning, budgeting, management and allocation of resources to
provide effective stores management, inventory services and logistics
•Supervise verification of accuracy of purchased materials and technical acceptance by end users
• To create and operate effective strategies and management of Hired Vehicles

Store Management function:-
• Issues Inventory Report; in/out status report; dead stock report, goods age report, consumption
report and other report requirement
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance spares, consumables and tools inventory and
inventory records using Maximo

HSE Functions:

• Be the Safety Observer of the Site
• Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and
third parties
• Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the
generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to
improve existing processes on this regard within organisation

Technical Functions:

• Perform train recovery as required

• Cover shifts for absent maintenance technicians as required

• Update technical procedures as required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

The suitable candidate needs to have prior exposure / education in Stores management and Maintenance information System

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Ideally a degree holder or high diploma of post-secondary education in engineering, science or a related discipline
A minimum of 2 years engineering inventory management experience, preferably in the rail,
transport, auto, heavy engineering or similar industries
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in design, configuration and administration of computer based Maintenance Information Systems (MIS). Prior exposure to a project environment is desirable.

General Skills

Highly motivated and flexibility to work in a time-sensitive environment to respond quickly and
effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English verbal and written

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic mathematical knowledge and competency in using computer software for inventory and other functions.

REASONING ABILITY:
Good reasoning ability preferable. Ability to think laterally and analyse and assess a range of information

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office work and occasional field work. Average physical demand.
