We are currently looking to recruit an Industrialisation Manager (m/f) for our site in Mannheim, Germany

YOUR ROLE

The Industrialisation Manager manages the industrialisation of a Product Family in the Product Engine by defining the Design for Manufacture (DFM)/ Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) requirements and securing its application along the design process.

Your Tasks

Represent the Manufacturing function and its sub-functions in the Product Family, establish and manage the Initial Assembly Program, the List and Content of the Workstations, the Master Production Schedule, the Fabrication Scheduling Strategies, the First Product Schedule and the Material Delivery Strategies

You will also be involved in optimizing the manufacturing strategy in accordance with the business objectives: reduction of Throughput time (TPT), inventory and cost of train as well as challenging the site’s workload planning.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications

Fluency in business German and English is essential

Preferably a degree in Engineering, Operations or Lean Manufacturing or a tertiary qualification and lean manufacturing / operational experience.

Post graduate lean manufacturing qualifications are well regarded.

Minimum 5 years of experience in management role in production area with lean manufacturing environment, with working experience on projects, ideally in similar business areas (e.g. railways, construction, oil & gas, technology, energy) working experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Project management or Manufacturing Engineering/Methods.
