What are your contributions to the team?

  • Assist strategic initiatives associated with the Global 7500 & 5600 programs including Digital Transformation and key Smart Factory projects
  • Support the development and implementation of AI-powered dashboards and tools to automate reporting and monitor key operational KPIs in real time
  • Explore research on emerging AI applications relevant to manufacturing and operations and provide insights for pilot projects
  • Facilitate governance regarding budget follow-up, communication, Pearson project, Kaizens projects, KPI’s and all hands presentations
  • Prepare business cases with respect to budgets, scheduling, costing and program directive
  • Prepare governance of operational improvement projects for senior management reviews
  • Monitor resolution for over-cycled operational deliverables based on input from subject matter experts
  • Develop skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint etc.), aircraft management software (MES, NCMS) and coding languages (Python, SQL etc.)
  • Gain exposure to AI and machine learning tools used in operations, including how to apply basic models for process optimization and predictive analytics
  • Participate in working-level and senior leadership meetings, gaining insights into strategic planning and governance
  • Aircraft systems, parts, and the manufacturing assembly line as well as key soft skills (project management, communication)
  • Explore how Smart Factory initiatives and AI-enhanced solutions are transforming modern aerospace operations
  • Participate in working level and senior leadership meetings
  • Strengthen key soft skills, including project management, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Create business cases and support aircraft research projects

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are in 3rd/4th year of an undergraduate University program enrolled in an Engineering discipline
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint etc.)
  • Able to perform in a dynamic work environment
  • Familiar with key AI/Machine learning concepts and able to script in Python 
  • Speak and write fluently in English
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work in a team environment
  • Have excellent communication skills
