The Account Manager - Integrated Facilities Management (IMF) will work closely with the Indirect Goods & Services category teams, Finance and Legal in the resolution of commercial escalations in case of service deficiencies and serves as a central point of information exchange amongst several internal stakeholders. The Account Manager will ensure a close alignment of the Bombardier’s IGS strategy with the strategy of the key suppliers to benefit from supplier investments into new technologies and or opportunities for continuous improvements.

The role impacts the performance of the department and closely related teams by contributing to or support of functions and the business strategy area of the department. A critical success factor is to contribute to cost reductions by getting most value out of the supplier contracts and by avoiding additional cost.

Key success factors are primarily focused on the responsibility for supplier development and sustainable improved performance. The Account Manager has high-level of drive, discipline, creativity and motivation. This key player provides direction, drives for success, leads important changes and inspires trust and confidence.

The integrated facilities management Account Manager is accountable to manage large contracts with strategic Corporate Real Estate suppliers across the various Bombardier business units. The key focus of this role is to lead the commercial relationship with the suppliers and to ensure that all supplier services and obligations are delivered according to the contract. Key responsibilities of the account manager are:

Manage the overall supplier relationship:

Establish adequate governance structures on a global space;

Validate continuously supplier performance of contracted services and obligations;

Review contract commercials and forecasts;

Address structural and process issues in the collaboration with the supplier;

Review supplier strategy and ensure strategic alignment with CRE, Indirect Goods & Services and Bombardier stakeholders;

Perform executive review meetings with Leadership team and executive account management;

Act as the single point of contact towards the suppliers for all commercial aspects;

Support Stakeholders and collaborate with Legal and Finance in case of disputes.

Validate requests for service adjustments and perform contract changes:

Define service adjustments (additions, reductions or changes);

Lead the change process to incorporate the service adjustments into the contract with support of Legal, Finance and stakeholders;

Perform contract renewals or terminations.

Perform audits and benchmarks:

Manage usage of the audit rights to validate supplier compliance with security and other guidelines;

Perform regular service and price benchmarks to identify cost reduction opportunities;

Report on audit and benchmark results to Indirect Goods & Services leadership team.

Monitor fulfilment of Bombardier obligations:

Be the escalation point for invoice payment issues and take corrective actions in case of discrepancies;

Regularly review the status of Bombardier’s larger projects or service obligations and trigger actions, if necessary;

Negotiate claims.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate’s background includes the following:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic Supply Chain.

- Strong people management and leadership qualities with an ability to mobilize and foster an environment of teamwork with cross-functional teams, facilitating discussion and resolving issues to meet all objectives;
- Strong interpersonal, influencing skills in order to build consensus, without formal authority at times;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines;

- Possess excellent computer skills (MS Office suite);

- Excellent presentation and written communication skills are a must in English and French.
