In your role, you will:

- Lead and coordinate projects relevant for the enhancement of Bombardier’s Compliance Management System (CMS);
-
Ensure the efficiency and “Audit Readiness” of Bombardier’s CMS according to national and international standards (ISO, SOX etc.);

-
Design and implementation of relevant measures and KPI’s;

-
Develop new and support existing processes to identify and address compliance risks and red flags (e.g. Compliance Risk Assessment process);

-
Conduct company-wide Compliance Risk- and Maturity Assessments;

-
Prioritize compliance tasks based on results of the Compliance Risk- and Maturity Assessments;

Develop and ensure the effectiveness of (local) Compliance Controls with the collaboration of the Regional Compliance Officers (RCO);

Evaluate the results of Ethics & Compliance investigations and conduct “Root Cause Analyses”;

Translate complex legal text into understandable language and identify action steps for individuals and departments to act upon across;

Design and implement solid Compliance reporting structures;

Lead important global compliance projects: Organization and coordination of project teams, reporting, etc;

- Support the international Compliance organization in the implementation of Corporate Compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a bachelor’s degree in law, business administration or any other relevant field;
-
You have a minimum of 10 to 15 years relevant working experience in the area of compliance or legal in a similar industry;

You have a minimum of 5 years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in a similar industry;

-
You have strong knowledge of the ISO, SOX standards;

-
You have experience with conducting risk and maturity assessments and you also already conducted “Root Cause” analysis;

You have strong project and process management skills and have demonstrated leadership skills in managing complex projects with critical internal stakeholders from different functions;

You have a very good understanding of commercial correlations;

You have strong analytical and excellent communication skills;

You are able to work within short deadlines and under pressure;

You show a high level of cultural sensitivity, you are self-confident, persuasive, assertive, agile, focused and willing to make decisions;

-
You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and French.

You are flexible in your schedule and available to travel;

-
You have excellent knowledge at MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
