In your role, you will:

- Direct a team of managers and program analysts through the Change Management process. Work with cross-functional teams in order to prioritize statement of work within each portfolio and platform;

- Lead the Aerostructures external contracts and ensure customer satisfaction whilst protecting Bombardier’s interests, margins and operations. You will have to interact with Operations and other cross functional teams in order to rally them over the commercial deals you and your team will be managing.
- Lead strategic planning, reporting, visibility governance, organization, business management, control and lead all phases of the program, from development to successful deliveries to our customers.
- Lead the integration and harmonization of program business plans, program schedules / milestones and risk management ensuring alignment and deliverables support program objectives, schedules / milestones, commitments and requirements and provide visibility to teams, functions, and suppliers;
- Ensure adherence to the PCR schedules and budget. Help the team unlock roadblocks and escalations in order to meet the commitments. Ensure mitigation plans are put together to eliminate or minimize risks;
- Manage suppliers, market risks and issues responding with the appropriate level of planning and action to ensure all program commitments are met;
- Oversee with the preparation of the annual product plan to define key strategic issues and objectives and in developing specific initiatives in support of those objectives;

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have 10-15 years of program and organizational management experience within in aerospace or a related industry.

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related discipline. A master’s degree would be considered as an asset;
- You have advanced knowledge of program / project scheduling as well as business and product change management;
- You have strong management and leadership skills with a focus on talent development and building high-profile teams;
- You have thorough knowledge of functional responsibilities and internal processes of groups supporting new program development and business processes;
- You have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence;
- You have a strategic mindset, able to develop creative ideas/solutions by engaging the business internally and externally;
- You are able to fluently communicate in English and French (verbal & written).
