In your role, you will:

-
Participate in developing an overall AHMS portfolio for all Bombardier Business Aircraft

-
Become the team’s reference for the AHMS development processes, system compliance and technical documentation

-
Provide technical leadership on AHMS hardware, software, aircraft systems interfaces and aircraft data

-
Perform technical review of the team’s initiative to ensure the technical standards are followed and system requirements are met

-
Identify technical gaps in current system coverage and develop relevant action plans

Direct initiatives in which you will develop new AHMS functionalities in collaboration with Engineering, Customer Support Operations, Procurement, suppliers and service providers

Translate business requirements for new functionalities into detailed technical documentation

Make technical recommendations that are cost effective, timely, and feasible

-
Support the integration of AHMS in other Bombardier departments

Participate in trade events, support technical workshops within the organization

Execute all tasks to meet requirements, within assigned budget and schedule

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

You hold a University degree in Electrical, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent

-
You have 10-20 years of experience in aerospace engineering and product development

-
You have experience with civil aircraft and airworthiness authorities (asset)

You have experience with databases and programming language (asset)

-
You are ambitious and have a solid drive for results

-
You are organized, a team player, self-motivated, customer focused, and able to work under pressure

You have demonstrated that you are pro-active, adaptable and flexible, you are innovative and have a strong sense of accountability and integrity

You have the ability to manage initiatives of a technical nature

-
You have the ability to influence stakeholders and work autonomously

-
You have strong oral and written English communications skills and functional French communication skills are desired
