In your role, you will:

- Lead cross-functional communications plans involving Operations, Services & Support and Procurement teams, building communications tools as required.
- Proactively identifying communication opportunities to drive corporate goals and transformation objectives, as well as addressing potential challenges;
- Develop day-to-day communication strategies to support production sites and serve as a strategic advisor to supported leaders.
- Develop briefing documents for internal use and work with subject matter experts as required.
- Establish positive relationships with multiple and varied stakeholders to support an all-inclusive communications approach.
- Anticipate potential internal issues and assess communications impact/requirements.
- Support the adherence to organizational culture, strategies and procedures to connect to the company’s objectives and priorities.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

You hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Communications/Public relations or a related discipline.

You are a storyteller with excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and French;

You hold 5-8 years of experience in communications or public relations teams supporting complex organizations.

You are passionate about the impact strong communications can have in supporting large-scale organizational changes.

-
You have a proven ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, complex environment and adapt to changing stakeholder requirements, ambiguous situations or crises with poise.

You maintain high standards and error-free work while handling multiple projects.

-
You can work independently or remotely collaborate in a team setting, including virtual teams

You have a successful track record working with senior executives.

You have communications experience working with varied internal stakeholders. Knowledge of the aerospace industry or other technically-driven, complex industries an asset.

You have the ability to build and maintain relationships while influencing peers.

You possess Microsoft Office and basic web skills with superior PowerPoint skills. Bonus points knowing Adobe Creative Suite.
