As part of its transformation Journey, Bombardier aims at expanding its operating turn by deploying a unique world class Integrated Business planning and inventory management system across all business units of Bombardier.

To support this goal, Bombardier's Transformation Office is looking to grow a new team of Corporate Specialists in Production planning and inventory management.

This strategic role will ensure the effective and efficient use of Bombardier’s resources to optimize inventory levels (right inventory in the right place at the right time). This position is accountable for defining industry standard processes regarding site production planning and also for leading & managing the deployment across sites including the training of resources, and ultimately for the correct execution of the deployed process that will lead to performance improvement. This role will help create and drive process discipline across the organization using reporting, analysis, and benchmarking. This mandate will lead you to be fully involved in the high-profile transformation plan and have a direct impact on Bombardier’s performance.

You combine excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy and leadership skills

You are able to exert thoughtful influence in a matrixed organization, be a strong teammate and communicator

You are confident in presenting to Executive Management.

You have a background in leading and solving complex organizational problems

You have a strong understanding of the required master data supporting MRP II

Education & Experience

• Have an undergraduate degree in business or operations management

• APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP is a strong asset

• Have ten + years of experience, preferably in production/manufacturing operations, or a strategic role within a manufacturing or consultancy firm

• Demonstrated influencing skills in a matrix-based organization or through indirect reporting lines as well as have proven results in coaching project teams

• Excellent presentation skills necessary to understand, consolidate and present information in an efficient way to all levels of the organization, from working level to senior management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strategic mindset as well as strong analytical and synthesizing skills with demonstrated creativity towards problem solving

• Team oriented and enjoy working cross-functionally and communicating with others

• Able to multi-task within a highly demanding, highly performant and continuously changing environment

• Available for international travelling
