In your role, you will:

- Manage the defense and special mission product portfolio by:

- Creating and implementing a strategic marketing communication plan to support sales campaigns and overall brand awareness.
- Working with various teams in developing and disseminating marketing communications material: key messages, videos, press releases, brochures, factsheets, print and digital advertising campaigns, direct mail pieces, etc.
- Producing digital content to broadcast through our Social Media channels and website.
- Optimizing the mix of communication channels for the above-mentioned material.
- Monitoring budget according to the annual plan.
- Suggesting innovative solutions to communicate in a primarily B2B / Government / Institutional landscape.
- Liaising with a wide matrix of business units internally, as well as third-party prime contractors.

- Lead the governance for major marketing projects and specialized events through:

- Rigorous project management
- Regular meetings with different management levels of the Marketing, Government Affairs, Communications, Sales and Specialized Aircraft teams
- Pro-active follow-ups with stakeholders
- Represent all branches of the Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs team participating directly on the Bombardier Specialized Aircraft (BSA) leadership team
- Attend regular BSA business planning and governance meetings
- Track active sales campaigns and cascade relevant information to Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs colleagues
- Report on all Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs to the BSA team.


As our ideal candidate,

- You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in marketing and communications (defense industry or prime defense contractor experience a key asset; previous classified authorizations in U.S. an asset)

- You have past experience developing a multi-channel go-to-market strategy in a B2B / Government landscape
- Self-sufficient, you are detail-oriented and have a strategic mind
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- You respect timelines and can manage many projects, while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment
- You bring creativity, passion and enthusiasm to your work and can motivate a team to generate results
- You can set clear targets while tracking and reporting on progress
- You like challenges and demonstrate initiative and creativity
- You are eager to learn and develop yourself
- You enjoy teamwork and like to establish good interpersonal relationships
- You are very proficient in English, spoken and written, with a keen eye for editing (French proficiency an asset)
