In your role, you will:

- Develop and execute PR & Communication strategies that supports the growth and promotion of Bombardier’s Customer Services & Support business.

- Develop and manage a calendar of pro-active public relations opportunities that enable Bombardier’s Customer Services & Support leadership team to illustrate the company’s strategic plan and core values in the public sphere;
- Write compelling content for communications plans, such as news releases, media Q&A/key messages, speeches, marketing campaigns, and other internal and public documents.
- Collaborate with our executives to assess communications needs and provide a successful mix of support and guidance with regards to media interactions, keynote speeches and various public presentations;
- Pitch story ideas and content to media
- Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
- Foster relationships with PR agencies in key markets to achieve regional PR objectives by leveraging local insights and ensuring a smooth roll-out of campaigns.
- Anticipate potential issues and stay abreast of trends and issues impacting the Bombardier Customer Services & Support team
- Support Bombardier Customer Services & Support at major industry events (occasional travel required)
- Serve as organizational spokesperson with media & lead media outreach (as required)
- Create a thought leadership plan supported by communications that have a consistent tone and voice, meet brand standards and connect to the company’s objectives and priorities;
- Support the development of a creative social media & influencer strategies that supports the PR & communications objectives for Customer Services & Support.
- Support Bombardier’s strategic internal communications initiatives as needed to ensure accuracy and alignment of messages.
- Manage and implement updates for the media sections of our Bombardier websites.
- Allocate and monitor budget according to strategic plans.
- Lead the governance for major marketing projects through rigorous project management & regular meetings with different management levels of the Marketing & Communications and Customer Experience organizations.


As our ideal candidate,

- You have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or the equivalent in years of experience.

- You have more than 8 years of experience in public relations, communications, government affairs or a related discipline with experience as an on-camera spokesperson an asset.
- You have in-depth understanding of communications principles and practices
- You demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- You have proven ability to coach executives, provide candid counsel and act as a trusted advisor;
- You have Experience dealing with large-scale change in a matrixed environment;
- You have Excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and French;
- You have Experience working with leaders, creating impact through strong communications and supporting large-scale organizational changes;
- You have a strategic thinker who’s energized by change and driven by results;
- You have a team player who enjoys collaborating with teams across the world;
- You have proactive, solution-driven, and detail-oriented.
- You have the ability to work independently or collaborate successfully in a team setting, including virtual teams
- You have in-depth knowledge of Bombardier Customer Services & Support, the aerospace industry or other complex industries an asset.
- You have strong customer orientation.
- Strong presentation skills and is comfortable presenting to all levels of an organization.
- You have a love for online communications with an aptitude for technology.
- You have a background in storytelling with strong writing skills that can fit a complex idea into a handful of words;
- You have a solid track record in showcasing communications to achieve maximum impact, including the creation of compelling presentations in PowerPoint;
- You have an in-depth understanding of social media principles and practices;
- You have demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- You have advanced Speech Writing skills;
- You have experience creating content for LinkedIn and managing community engagement on the platform.
