Partner with colleagues and management on position/project strategy and candidate requirements. The recruiter identifies and engages leaders to fill openings at all levels of the organization. Responsible for all stages of the hiring process - from partnering with management on position definition, search strategy and candidate requirements, to developing sourcing strategies to target and assess top talent. This high-visibility position is the central point for planning and executing the Bombardier talent acquisition strategy. The position is critical to the businesses as the success of the recruiting function and ability to meet headcount forecast with world class talent is fundamental to achieving and exceeding business objectives.

In your role, you will:

Participate actively in full cycle recruitment process (pre-selection, interviews and offers);

Ensure that the recruiting processes and hiring engine are delivering effectively and in an integrated manner with the overall talent needs. In doing so, a constant focus will be placed on hiring the top talent for today and ensuring a pipeline of innovative talent for the future.

Proven ability to balance a high number of open positions, managing roles across multiple teams and departments.

Source passive candidates through formal and informal network, complex internet searches, database mining, including the use of the social media;

Partnering with hiring managers, other members of the HR community, as well as team colleagues to determine the current and future recruiting needs.

Developing and executing candidate generation strategies and building a pipeline of talent, including directly sourcing candidates, with an emphasis on diversity.

Performing extensive research, industry calibration, and reference checking.

Extend and negotiate offers to candidates.

Stay abreast of sourcing/recruiting trends.


As our ideal candidate,

You hold a Bachelor's in Human Resources, or in a related field or with an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job;

- You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment preferably in the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry;

- You have a proven ability to balance a high number of open positions, managing roles across multiple teams and departments;

- You have the ability to understand, articulate, and document a hiring manager’s stated requirements, and formulate a clear value proposition that will attract the caliber of candidate we need to meet those requirements.

- You have the ability to manage multiple roles within a fast-paced environment and address hiring needs with strong sense of urgency, while providing excellent candidate experience

- You are a team and results oriented individual who has the capacity to influence others;

- You have a proven experience recruiting candidates with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion

- You promote organization values, behaviors and diversity through daily candidate interactions, social media and effective employer branding strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels

- You have demonstrated negotiation skills when dealing with stakeholders including candidates and internal clients;

- You have experience with internet searches by various recruiting techniques and methods;

- You have good knowledge of MS Office;

- You have knowledge in SAP HR and an Applicant Tracking System, Taleo and SuccessFactors, an asset;

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision (Bilingual -English / French).

- You can utilize LinkedIn Recruiter and other sources, such as referrals, to proactively develop a talent pipeline for critical roles
