In your role, you will:

Create and/or revise troubleshooting procedures as required while maintaining the Fault Specification.

- Create Salesforce cases to track User Comments, First Time Fix issues and Advisory Wires.

- Integrate the Fault Isolation with the Technical Publications manuals by creating and incorporating hyperlinks to the AMM task into the troubleshooting procedures.

- Integrate available data (AHMS, OMS, MDC) from aircraft into the troubleshooting procedures.

- Source and validate technical data and create instructions to isolate faults that are associated with a possible cause.

- Evaluate AWs to determine what (if any) troubleshooting an AW is associated with and if the AW should be added into a troubleshooting procedure as a reference.

- Research engineering documents that describe system operation & system integration.

- Research wire drawings to understand circuit paths.

- Receive & log User Comments into a tracking document.

- Receive and log AWs into a tracking document.

- Use Typo3 Content Management System & Text Editor (Edit Pad Pro, Power Grep).

- Collaborate with members of Bombardier Teams to receive feedback on improving troubleshooting procedures.


As our ideal candidate,

You have five (5) years of experience in the field of Aviation.

- You have strong, comprehensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles.

- You have strong, comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and familiarity with avionics systems.

- You have strong, comprehensive knowledge of & experience working with computer technologies, especially Excel.

- You have familiarity with and an interest in web-based technologies.

- You have excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.

- You have the ability to work with minimum supervision.

- You are a team player, with project planning & organization skills.

- You have a background in classroom training (considered an asset).

- You have an engineering background (considered an asset).

- You have the knowledge of VBA & Regular Expressions (considered an asset).

- You can travel (possible 5% of time in role)

- You have a College Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance (Avionics).
