Based in Phoenix, Arizona you will lead and manage multi-function teams delivering the civil scope construction and installation from detail design to final acceptance by the client. You also will ensure that all associated activities are undertaken to the specified schedule, design specifications and OHS requirements. You will lead the civil contractor and scheduling activities and you will act as the single point of contact for technical issues with the construction team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Be responsible for ensuring that all Subsystem or Work Package (WP) deliveries, installation, testing and commissioning works within a pre-defined WP are executed in accordance with approved construction designs and program in accordance with bombardier and industry working codes of practice and local requirements;

- Prepare for site readiness of the work plan Installation and Construction works including plans, drawings and methodologies;

- Act as a site technical point of contact with the WP from issuance of approved design drawings to final testing and commissioning of any given subsystems within the WP;

- Be a safety ambassador for the site team and you will Co-lead any site safety initiatives appropriate for the all work being preformed;

- Coordinate any site reporting requirements for the work plans and testing and commissioning of assigned subsystems (internal and external);

- Identify and elevate any potential issues impacting other subsystems, workplans or deviation from the approved design and schedule;

- Work closely with partners and internal stakeholders to track and manage those items for any schedule or cost impacts.


Key Requirements:

- You have five (5) or more years of recognized qualification and experience in performing similar duties;
- You prior experience in transit installation / construction would be considered as a plus;
- You are familiar with the relevant local codes and industry standards;
- You own experience scheduling and managing multiple disciplines in any of the following sub systems: equipment installation, civil construction, electrical installation;
- You are highly proficient in MS Office, including Visio AutoCAD software, Adobe Acrobat, and Sharepoint;
- You are able to read AutoCAD, drawings, and schematics;
- Your experience with scheduling and managing work flow is a special advantage;
- You have strong leadership skills;
- You are able to communicate at many levels within a hierarchical project organization;
- You are an analytical thinker and you have proven skills to translate technical data into common understandable language;
- Your English communications skills are excellent both written ans spoken.
