Join us as a Technical Project Manager and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be
responsible for ensuring a functionally complete and
integrated solution (mainly Generic Product/Generic Application) on a project
by leading the sub-system teams towards the common goals.

Responsibilities:

-
Manage and direct the development activities through the sub-system
leads. This includes system requirements, architecture, and interfaces. It also
includes all sub-system aspects and the interface to related Generic Product
development.

Provide overview targets for the team, based on the project needs,
scheduling the activities.

-
Make the release planning for the product development in alignment with
the project targets.

-
Plan resource needs together with the sub-system leads and functional
organization.

Suggest development and resource priorities as needed. Budget and EAC for
the scope.

Report to the Project Manager/Project Engineer and to the functional
head.

Integrate and test the system, mainly the generic applications to ensure
that the integrated solution meets its requirements.

Ensure, normally through the Safety Coordinator, that the safety targets
for the sub-systems and system are met.

Create Work packages and manage them with external suppliers.

Be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both
technical and non-technical members.

Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-
Bachelor’s Degree Engineering with 5+ years of experience designing and developing Engineering products.

-
Experience in Rail signaling industry.

-
2+ years of experience as Technical or Product Lead working on a cross-functional Software projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

-
Master’s Degree Engineering or related technical field

-
Experience managing execution of high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (plan, build, test and release on time).

-
Experience in product integration, troubleshooting, release and safety critical activities for software products.

-
Experience working in Agile environment.
