In your role, you will:

- Adhere to General Work Requirements

- Assist with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production

- Assist with drafting the necessary working and repair documents

- Learn to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)

- Assist with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity

- Assist with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)

- Assist Methods Planners with tool designs

- Direct Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)

- Develop shop plans and metrics to drive cost and schedule

- Develop and maintain manpower forecast and capacity planning

- Assist in area layouts and flow optimization

- Assist in rate tool analysis and equipment support requirements

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems and assembly

- Perform required duties in a manufacturing environment


As our ideal candidate,

- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area

- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred)

- You have previous experience in manufacturing (preferred)

- You have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications (preferred)

- You have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio)

- You have basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5, Minitab, Aurora, AutoMost (preferred)

- You have basic knowledge of Lean/6-Sigma tools and practices

- You have basic knowledge of Project Management principles
