We are currently looking to recruit a Signalling Engineer (m/f) for our site in Rome, Italy.

YOUR ROLE

The Signalling Engineer will support the development and maintenance of generic application (signalling rules) according to technological and contractual constrains:

- Signalling Requirements handling;

- IXL logic development;

- IXL logic testing.

Your Tasks

· Interlocking Logic development and configuration according to CENELEC 50128

· Tests Execution for the homologation of the generic application

· Supervision and development of possible future junior Application Engineers

· Ensure compliance with the Region South engineering processes

· Technical project management

Qualifications

· Engineering Degree (Electric or Electronic preferred)

· Min. 4-6 years of experience in the railway sector

· Knowledge of railway signalling systems and safety regulations

· Good knowledge of product lifecycle management (CENELEC 50128)

· Knowledge of ERTMS Level 2

· Knowledge of Configuration management

· OS Unix and Windows knowledge

· Good communication and planning skills

· Flexibility and resilience to work under pressure

· Excellent Team working skills

· Results oriented

· Availability to travel
