Purpose of the Job

In this role, you will be responsible and mandated to lead, manage and control all ITC (Installation, Testing and Commissioning) related activities in the project to deliver on requirement, budget and schedule at one or more sites. You will support the Project Manager in representing the project in all ITC related matters towards the customer and represents the ITC function within the Project Core Team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate the ITC team on site and lead the Project Core Team in all applicable ITC processes and activities.
• Responsible that all ITC related deliverables, as described in the WBS (work-breakdown structure), are performed in a timely manner and delivered in accordance with contract requirements, through planning, communication and control.
• Review the ITC project plan with the costumer and follow-up on our sub-contractors responsibilities.
• Responsible to report to Project Core Team progress of the ITC related activities and assist the Project Manager with ITC matters during project reviews.
• Manage a control-system for monitoring activities and action progress at the field sites.
• Coordinate the time schedules and supervise the planning and execution of all site works.
• Implement and enforce HSE requirements on site with the support of HSE team representatives.
• Conduct and record regular occupational safety and environmental tours and assure that identified issues are followed up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronic/ Mechanical/ Civil Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Knowledge of signalling railway systems as ERTMS, CBI or railway course/experience will be considered a plus.
• MS Office and/or MS Project will be preferred.
• Open minded, easily adaptable, positive attitude towards new challenges.
• Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
• Being proactive and effective in an unsupervised working environment.
• Able to work in a team, responsible for your actions/decisions and result-oriented with a positive mindset.
• Willingness to travel (nationally and international).
• English and Italian at a fluent level are mandatory for this role, French or any other European language will be considered a plus.
