Join us as a Senior Technical Writer/Instructor and
you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in West Mifflin,
Pennsylvania.

As a Senior Technical Writer/ Instructor, you will
be responsible for providing advanced technical operational and
instructional manuals and customer training for equipment produced and/or
supplied by the company as required by customer contracts or purchase
orders. When required, the incumbent
will provide project oversight (project coordination/system integration) in the
areas of manuals and training.

Responsibilities:

Research/compile information to author vehicle and wayside operation and maintenance
manuals.

Act as a liaison and facilitator during factory and field site training
programs for international customers. These activities could occur after normal
working hours, on weekends and holidays.

Design, plan, develop and instruct vehicle and wayside operational and
maintenance training courses to customer specifications.

Work well independently with minimal supervision.

When required, serve as a project lead/coordinator for “system
integration” projects and interface directly with programs, customer and
vendors for all manual and training requirements.

Use manual and training program development tools including desktop publishing
software (MS Word and, Power Point, etc.)

Support other departmental requirements. (Continuous throughout the
process.)

Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- Associate degree in an Electrical field with 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical and electronic wiring diagrams and schematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

- Experience in the Transportation industry.
