Senior Expert, Industrialization Strategy & Future Programs

In your role, you will

  • Partner with Finance teams to prioritize projects aligned to a long-term strategic enterprise roadmap and establish appropriate KPI’s and dashboards to improve Business financial forecast and performance;
  • Identify root cause(s), develop project business case, gain partner alignment and recommend prioritization of solutions for projects assigned to the portfolio;
  • Develop, track and report on project achievements and tasks in close collaboration with assigned teams (Finance, Planning, Operations and Engineering);
  • Lead and influence cross-functional project members to ensure the project execution meets the established schedule and budget;
  • Coordinate and lead the executive portfolio governance of Bombardier Industrialization team used to identify risks & opportunities, accelerate project execution and foster alignment to project scope and results;
  • Communicate project strategy, updates, escalation of risks/issues to multiple levels of management, including executive leadership teams across the organization;
  • Be accountable for the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables and reports for audiences at all levels of the organization within Bombardier;
  • Develop trusted relationships with partners (Finance, Planning, Operations and Engineering) to help develop portfolio strategies and action plans that enable business success.
     

As our ideal candidate

  • You have an expertise in aerospace structures industrialization, manufacturing, and development process;
  • You have a passion about the future of the aerospace industry and a great enthusiasm for the industry 4.0 improvement capability;
  • You hold a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in highly complex assembly manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace;
  • You have strong project manager experience, with proven record on complex project management;
  • You hold a bachelor’s or masters’ degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, etc). Industrial Engineering Technician with significant experience may be eligible;
  • You have proven track record in leading major industrialization projects, preferably in aerospace, with high level of cross functional work;
  • You have a practical knowledge of the aerospace quality standard and their application in the manufacturing processes;
  • You have the ability to understand finance and product costing;
  • You have a good awareness of the aerostructure supply chain, from raw mat supply to complex assemblies, and have a practical understanding of the key drivers for a make/buy strategy analysis ;
  • You have the capacity of producing high quality synthetic documents reflecting your strong analytical mind;
  • You have skills in customer-oriented approach, you are autonomous and able to respect deadlines;
  • You have excellent oral and written communicator skills;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and you are a good team player;
  • You have experience in working in an international environment, collaborating with people in remote sites;
  • You have knowledge of Office 365 environment including all collaboration tools such as SharePoint & Teams, Proficiency in MS-Excel & PowerPoint is required, MS-Project is an asset.
