Join us as a Product Safety Assurance Manager, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno, Quebec.

As a Product Safety Assurance Manager, you will develop and improve the Product Safety Management System (PSMS).

Your responsibilities will include:

- Plan updates of the PSMS;
- Updates of the PSMS (includes updates of processes, of documentation, training materials; support the implementation of the PSMS updates, etc.);
- Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of implementation of the PSMS;
- Perform gap analysis for the PSMS at various levels;
- Provide and support the PSMS governance and continual improvement;
- Support the management of incidents, accidents and near-misses with BT products and services;
- As a part of BT’s Product Safety Network, support and interface the global Product Safety assurance activities;

- Support BT in different types of product safety-related working groups and standardization committees;
- Provide technical expertise in support of colleagues or departments with less experience in the field of safety management.


Key requirements:

- A university degree (B.Sc., M.Sc. or equivalent), or an equivalent working experience;
- You possess five (5) to ten (10) years of working experience post graduate;
- Knowledge of and experience with further relevant standards and legislation is beneficial;
- Knowledge of safety or risk assessment techniques and approaches (FTA, risk matrix, FME(C)A, etc.);
- Background knowledge in any particular engineering area (e.g. brakes, etc.) may be beneficial;
- Excellent English and French communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
