We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Legal Counsel (m/f) for our site in Stockholm, Sweden.

YOUR ROLE

Be a single point of contact for guarantee topics relating to his / her Div (e.g. to interface with Group and corporate functions with respect to initiatives, reporting, training and delivery of directives, distribution of memos etc).

Establish clear guidelines defining roles and responsibilities of IGUMP users approvers within his or her Division.

Conduct a regular internal reviews of their bond portfolio ( i.e. ODG, PCG, LOC, SB, LOCFR), with respect to costs & milestones.

Ensure all guarantees are reduced and released on time and in accordance with contractual milestones.

Have a clear view of upcoming guarantee issuances & increases and ensure they are forecasted, (even if the Bond Manager is not directly responsible for his/her internal bond forecasting process).

Set up goals and track achievement for cost saving initiatives related to guarantees.

Understand the company's internal tools and internal processes, and provide training to users within his or her Division on the tool.

Responsible for approval and review of access rights for the company's internal system.

Understand and advise his / her Division on key contractual requirements with respect to guarantees.

Your Tasks

- Support the functions in the bid phase so they follows the directives and receive approval in good time for bid submission. This also entails reviewing draft of contract , ITT documents and bond text
- Proactive handling of DIV. bond portfolio such as ensure active bonds are released or reduced on time, if required also do the actual requests in the system
- See opportunities for to amend active bonds and implement changes to improve the single projects financial and contractual benefits
- Request information and compile various reports requested in relation to bonds

Qualifications

Have a strong understanding of guarantee instruments and market practices of banks and insurance companies.

Paralegal degree or similar / Legal degree

Contractual understanding

Basics of Contract negotiation skills.

Basics of knowledge of drafting and reviewing terms and conditions.

Basics of knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation planning.

Basics of commercial knowledge.

Experience in dealing with/interpreting financial information.
