You role as test Engineer will be to engage with an experienced team working with the specific application of the wayside system within region North.

As test engineer you assures the proper validation and verification of our products.

The main responsibility in the role as Test Engineer is to verify that the wayside system fulfills the railway signaling requirements.

Tests will be carried out on target machine and in a virtual environment doing manual test or implementing and maintaining automated test cases.

Areas of responsibility

- Specify and execute tests. Analyze and report test result.
- Analyze and understand system requirements
- Analyze non-conformity reports.
- Cooperation with employees within the team and department to continuously improve system knowledge and improve way of working.
- Lab responsibility: Set up, configure and maintenance of hardware and software including simulators that are needed to be able to perform wayside specific application system test.

Your profile

You have a good understanding of how the team integrates with others in accomplishing the set goals and objectives of the team or department.

Furthermore you have a good understanding of how the assigned duties contribute to the work of the team.

You are capable of increasing and securing the safety quality of the products.

You can contribute and support the team or department to increase the efficiency and quality of the performed work, using the guidance

methods and procedures of the team or department. You should in a clear and concise manner be able to convey a message and pass on

the information to others within the organization both verbally and in writing.

Finally you can analyze interlocking designs and find suitable methods to verify them against the requirements with safety in mind.

- Bachelor of Engineering. Alternatively, any equivalent degree or work experience.
- Vocational university with orientation towards railway
- Railway signaling knowledge is desirable.
- 2-5 years post graduate work experience as software tester engineer is desirable.
- Computer knowledge for example installation of operating systems and drivers, network configuration is desirable.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
