Engineering Specialist Senior – Mass Properties POOL Posting-ONT00127

In your role, you will:

- Perform as a technical authority in the Mass Properties team
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring and training to the team.
- Monitor supplier weights.
- Support discussion and negotiation with suppliers.
- Prepare customers weight build-up.
- Calculate and control the weight and center of gravity of the aircraft.
- Define the weight and center of gravity limitation.
- Assist the final assembly line by weighing and ballasting aircraft.
- Perform technical analysis: aircraft buoyancy, fuel migration, mass and inertia distribution.


As our ideal candidate,

- You have a Bachelor or a Master in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years’ experience in Mass Properties.
- You have a strong knowledge of all aspects of Mass Properties Engineering including buoyancy, fuel migration, mass and inertia distribution, mass control and aircraft weighing.
- You have a good knowledge of aircraft structures and systems.
- You have a good knowledge of CATIA and MS Office.
- You must be fluent in English, written and spoken. Speaking French is an asset.
- You have demonstrated strong leadership and communication abilities, are results oriented and a team player.
