Based in Toronto, Ontario (Etobicoke or Whitby) you will be responsible for all equipment cycles, as well as the periodic maintenance scheduling, and maximizing train schedule cycling to ensure all maintenance schedules are met in accordance with the Maintenance Contract. You will also oversee monitoring Liquidated Damages, reviewing data to refute claims. Monitors Service Requests, and Work Order creation and completion.

In your position you will be ensures that Regulatory compliance is maintained for all locomotive and coach equipment, as this records of these inspections will be inspected by the Transport Canada Authorities at least 3 times per year.

In your role you will:

- Set monthly PM, Coach Quadrennials, Locomotive 90 Inspections and weekly toilet servicing schedules.
- Maintain Regulatory compliance of equipment periodic inspections;
- Review consist cycles to optimize maintenance scheduling and production targets;
- Create business cases to present to GO Transit to ensure consist is returned within the 24 hour window to protect revenue targets;
- Supervise clerks doing Maximo entries to ensure SR’s and WO’s are being created, and closed in a timely basis.
- Establish targets for SR and WO handling and then monitor their performance.
- Focus on old dated SR’s, GO Audit, and CITs by evaluating priority, triaging and coordinating resources with shop supervisors.
- Monitor Customer, and Bombardier equipment audits, to ensure work items and responses are completed within contractual time frames. Produce short term daily production plans and distribute to all parties, conveying a consistent message about the 24 hour operational plan.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold minimum a Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- You possess three to four (3-4) years of work experience in a Heavy Manufactory environment;
- You have experience in Maintenance Planning;
- You have supervisory experience;
- Your knowledge of Maximo, Excel and Word is excellent.;
- Your English communication skills are excellent.
