Based in Toronto, Ontario, you will manage, supervise and monitor a team of technicians to ensure that safe work is being performed during the testing, repair and modifications of vehicles and equipment 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

In your role you will:

- Be responsible for the correct deployment of testing, repair, modifications and documentation; to the technical team on various shifts to ensure work and activities are planned and coordinated with the overall product introduction schedule;
- Manage shift and/or section employees of planned and coordinated work to ensure vehicles, technical resources and administrative support is available;
- Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate support teams e.g. Quality Assurance, Engineering, RAMS, Safety, etc;
- Implementation and enforcement of HSE requirements on site, schedule safety training with the support of HSE team representatives;
- Report regularly on status, special problems, shortages etc;
- Participate regularly in PI Management meetings.


As our ideal candidate:

- You have three (3) to five (5) years of relevant maintenance supervisory experience;
- You have experience testing, vehicle maintenance practices and methodology;
- You own knowledge of problem solving techniques;
- You possess knowledge of maintenance, warranty and chargeback processes, including vehicle testing and commissioning activities;
- You own strong communication and diplomacy skills and the ability to guide, influence and convince others and communicate complex concepts;
- You have excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
