We are currently looking to recruit a Bid Coordinator (m/f) for our site in Vado Ligure, Italy.


· Support Bid Manager to lead and secure delivery of complete bids (including full documentation) in time and approved by each function

· Support Bid Manager to drive several parallel bid processes, eventually in different countries

· Coordinate directly Blue Book preparation, input for calculation and benchmark analysis

· Coordinate the relative functions through bid plans, meetings and action logs

· Analysis, tracking and reporting on bid preparation budget

· Coordinate Tender “Clause by Clause” preparation

· Coordinate technical offer preparation

· Prepare quarterly report on bid KPIs

· Manage PTD Bids database

· Works in close partnership with the Bid Manager, Procurement and Technical/Operational functions.

Your Tasks

Leadership: ability to lead activities towards peer functions to harmonize the bid approach (Sales, ENG, PROC, PI, Operations)

Co-ordination, preparation and precision of data input

Product Knowledge: a good common technical understanding. Needs to understand new technical concepts in complex innovative systems. Ability to transfer customer needs and expectations into a successful bidding concept and carry out a respective reliable as well as competitive pricing. Good anticipation of product and project related risk essential (Bid Manager is owner of Risk assessment Exercise with ENG, Legal, PROC, PI etc)

Documentation: lead the on time preparation of clear-cut, high quality documents for internal bid approval decisions as well as for external tender/offer documents.

Bid Process Owner: support in implementation of standardized bid processes and tools, flawless coordination of bid review cycle with Bid Approval to provide for a transparent, educated and informed business decision process with Ser Exec Management and Bid Governance Organization.


Very solid financial background is key due to high responsibility for bid calculation. Good understanding of complex bidding and/or partner structures.

Good technical understanding to easily work/move within a highly innovative and constantly changing technical environment. Constant and comprehensive exchange with Engineering function is required on a daily basis.

Familiarity with Excel (2.1 template) is a must.

Ability to understand the business reality and the financial requirements. He shall provide the necessary skills to work out competitive solutions for complex bidding scenarios with ambitious customer demands.

Ability to lead and coordinate without formal authority. Workforce capacity planning of other functions and cross-functional coordination (e.g., production rate to be adjusted, schedule changes/harmonization etc).

Outstanding organisational and true multitasking skills for planning and solution finding on day to day bid activities.

Excellent problem solving and analytic skills and ability to work independently
