About the role:

1. Development of circuit diagrams

2. Creation of the electrical schematics using the Zuken E3 series tool.

3. Define Electrical Design rules and functional concepts in cooperation with functional architects, safety engineers and system engineers

4. Integration of systems in one complete circuit diagram according the actual norms, standards and requirements

5. Drive design reviews and First Article Inspections (FAIs)

6. Responsible to prepare hard wired logic diagram based on electrical and functional architecture requirements

7. To analyse functional requirements and sub-system supplier inputs which are necessary for generating circuit design

8. To be present in the sub-system design reviews with supplier and customer.

9. Analyse and optimize the technical choices in terms of cost, reliability and safety.

10. Support testing team to test the functionality of the Control/Command on train level through specific software

11. Translate the train Control/Command into wiring diagrams.

12. Manage the electrical and functional interfaces with other systems and support for developing the cabling diagram / physical integration and defining the electrical components.

13. Ensure overall vehicle electrical functionality and performance.

14. To review / verify the integrated circuit diagram in-line with functional circuit design

15. Participate in vehicle functional design reviews

16. To be the Engineering function(s) direct interface to the Project Engineer and the other project members with regards to the vehicle function and electrical requirements.

17. Reviewing functional test and validation documents.

18. Alerting System, Vehicle or Project Engineers of any issue that may affect the fulfilment of the project targets.

19. Provide field support during product introduction, reliability growth, and warranty period, in seeking solutions to electrical functional problems.


Qualification & Experience:

- B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of professional experience in rolling stock field and at least 2 years of experience to define vehicle electrical functionality
- Hands on experience in preparation of functional electrical circuit diagram and integrate with vehicle sub-systems.
- Relevant Experience for developing functional circuit diagram with E-CAD tool. Knowledge/Experience of E3-series is an added advantage
· Knowledge of Vehicle functions with its failure mode analysis is necessary to develop vehicle electrical functional schematic.

- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
