About the Role:

The main task of this role is to perform System Integration as well as Create, Execute, Analyze and Document System Tests for complete Railway Signaling Systems in a Laboratory Environment.

The type of testing includes, but is not limited to: Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Non¬functional Testing, Boundary Testing, Error-handling Testing, Performance Testing, Scenario-based Testing and Validation Testing.

Furthermore, the task will be to re-create scenarios from the field operating environment with the ability to analyses logs and interpret complex system behavior is valuable for this position.

A certain amount of work in the field could be required as part of the role, therefore travelling to domestic and foreign work sites and work outside regular office hours could be requested. As the capability of the labs are evolving, there is also the possibility to participate in the development of System Simulators, Automation Test Engines.

Keen interest in the discipline of test and verification. Understanding of requirements for the creation and execution of Integration Test Cases and System Test Cases.

The job-holder will be multi-skilled and required to work as part of the Systems Integration and Test Team. The position entails documenting test procedures and test script in test specifications, executing the tests, fault finding and analysis. Since Test Specifications, Test Records and Test Reports are documented in English, good English skills are required.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Receive requirement specifications and scenarios from the Engineering department (what to test) and write the test procedures (how to test) for all systems based on engineering documentation, customer specifications and company and vendors information. Also design test equipment to be used in testing.

2. Take full responsibility for the technical execution of the test on time and with adequate quality. Complete functional testing according to the Test Specifications with the use of complex test equipment’s. Have a basic troubleshoot subsystems as needed to complete functional testing.

3. Analyze faults, repeat tests, both correct and incorrect results, and develop preliminary means of improvement on incorrect test results.

4. Document the record or report of all results from functional and non- functional verification, including analysis and conclusion of the results, raise Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs).

5. Demonstrate a personal commitment to the SHE Cultural Framework, policies, Safety Essentials and Management System requirements and expectations;

6. Develop and maintain an awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks and demonstrate a commitment to eliminate or minimise those risks.

7. Understand and effectively undertake SHE accountabilities.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, related fields.
- 3 years of work experience in testing (software) and commissioning in railway signaling projects (Interlockings, ATP, Metros, CBTC and/or ERTMS technologies) would be a plus.
- Working experience in testing and commissioning on site in rail systems integration projects would be an added plus.
- Software testing experience from electronic or Electronic & Electrical (EE) industry would also be considered.
- More importantly you must be interested in driving for results and assuming responsibility of overall results.
