In your role, you will:
- Prepare all necessary documents such as specifications, quotes, avionics/electrical drawings, functional tests and reports related to aircraft modifications.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers, suppliers and regulatory officials.
- Collaborate with core design engineering team to develop larger engineering design packages for aircraft cabin upgrades.
- Work with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, testing and certification of avionics and entertainment systems on all Bombardier platforms.
- Work with Avionic Technicians for drawing deviations.
- Work in a team environment
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You will hold a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent or will have a minimum of five (5) years of practical avionics/electrical system installations, testing and integration experience in aviation.
- You have experience with AutoCad (preferred)
- You will have a working knowledge of the FAA system safety process.
- You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
- You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
- You have a working knowledge of electrical, avionics, and wire harness design guidelines for CFR Part 25 aircraft is preferred.
- You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
- You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
