Bombardier has an exciting opportunity available for a Training Coordinator based in Wichita, KS. You will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Quality Manager.

In your role, you will:

• Be responsible for the design, administration, delivery, evaluation, and maintenance of training programs and services for assigned site(s) to ensure a fully qualified workforce as well as regulatory compliance

• Develop technical training courses and programs, for example, training needs analysis, training requirements, and curriculum and material development

• Perform formal evaluation of training courses and programs, for example, knowledge retention, on-the-job transfer, and cost-effectiveness

• Coordinate with management team to address and resolve training-related issues for assigned site(s)

• Coordinate with vendors and schools to select training courses and seminars for the development of specialized skills and qualifications

• Assist in developing and administering training budget for assigned area(s) and site(s)

• Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting training issues and problems for assigned site(s)

• Assist in the administration of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for Bombardier Aviation.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and administering training programs.

- You understand the different learning styles in adult education and how the learning styles apply to a training environment

- You are organized and understand the importance of maintaining accurate training records

- You can apply training needs to business needs; knowing when to create or outsource training based off a provided budget

- You have working knowledge of training system development (ISD, ADDIE) and administration principles

- You have maintained/ understand how to use a learning management system

- You have basic knowledge of FAR training regulations part 145 and 63

- You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory agencies and representatives, all levels of management team, suppliers, and other departments and sites throughout Bombardier Aviation

- You have previous experience in aerospace industry (strongly preferred)
