The Product Development Manager will run, administer and organize project activities in cooperation under the direction of the Head of Rolling Stock Equipment (ROQ) Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) Planning & Performance, aiming at the flawless execution of Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) projects.

• Define the scope of the respective LRV project in collaboration with the Head of ROQ EWIS Planning & Performance and Vehicle Project Manager
• Liaise with internal clients / Product leads to identify and define project requirements, scope, mile stones
• Create project scheduling for projects, bids and transformation activities where required
• Help to determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
• Leading the multifunctional ROQ EWIS team in the matrix to achieve the Design/Make Plan including successful completion of Design Review gates
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports as well as risk management

• Monitor and track project’s progress and provide mitigation actions for any issues that arise
• Organize and chair EWIS coordination & status review meetings
• Use project management tools to monitor working hours, budget, plans and money spend, input requirement management and tracking input deliverables
• Lead change management activities for EWIS scope
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes


• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in managing multifunctional teams
• Previous experience in Transportation Sector
• Proven experience in performance project management techniques and project planning
• Experience of identifying and handling risk/opportunity;
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills (on different levels with project core team, management, customer, partners etc.)
• Fluent in English in German
• Willingness to travel

The minimum salary for this position is € 2.866,92 gross / month (14 x) for full-time employment according to the collective bargaining agreement. Overpayment depends on relevant work experience and qualifications.
