In your role, you will

•    Review and approve Supplier technical engineering deliverables (ESSD/PCD) in part or in whole.
•    Engage with electrical System stakeholders and manage workload scheduling.
•    Provide technical engineering support on change management implementation (RFC, PCR).
•    Creation of wiring diagrams from System Definition Schematics (ESSD), preparation of Harness Reports with Harness Bill of Material (BOM) to meet customer configuration.
•    Establish/improve measures to ensure/improve quality of engineering documents. Prepare work statements and reports (EDRN). Checking of work prior to release and ensure compliance to various systems requirement.
•    Select various components, connectors, backshells and other parts, involving researching parts catalogues, engineering specifications and contact with vendors if required.
•    Be able to identify and manage engineering technical risks independently.
•    Communicate lessons learned to other community members.
 

As our ideal candidate

•    You have a University degree in aircraft avionics or electrical engineering or equivalent work experience in wiring integration.
•    You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in aerospace.
•    You have wiring design, wiring installation and/or wiring troubleshooting and electrical system integration knowledge.
•    You have a strong sense of responsibility and have good organization skills.
•    You must have excellent communication skills including the ability to read/write in English.
•    You have good experience with CATIA V5 and CATIA V4 (CATWIRE module), Mentor Graphics, PLM databases CDMA and Teamcenter experience an asset.
•    You are comfortable working with MS office suite.
