Short Description
As part of the Structures Program Management team, you will manage a portfolio of projects across multiple Bombardier aircraft platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business alignment, project execution and program performance.
What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage a Structures commodity portfolio across multiple Bombardier aircraft platforms, with end-to-end ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop business cases for technical changes, assessing commercial impacts, schedule and budget implications, risks, opportunities and overall program impact.
- Present clear, data-driven business cases and recommendations to management to support informed program decisions.
- Coordinate IWT governance for your assigned commodity or work package, providing visibility on project status, risks, opportunities, schedule and financial performance to PMO stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities, working with functional teams to develop and drive mitigation actions.
- Drive schedule and budget adherence, ensuring project performance remains aligned with program commitments.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement and other functions to resolve issues and deliver practical solutions.
- Take ownership and accountability from project initiation through completion, ensuring commitments and actions are delivered with the expected results.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or in Business Administration. Experience in aerospace, program/project management or manufacturing is an asset.
- You are self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative, asking questions and looking for ways to move work forward.
- You takes ownership and accountability for projects and commitments from initiation through completion.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex information and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
- You are a collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across functions and management levels.
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly present business cases, risks, commercial impacts and recommendations.
- You are organized and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities, changing requirements and tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
- You have a Project Management certification such as PMP is an asset, but not required.
The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $75,000.00 to CAD $104,900.00 per year. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications.
In some cases, the base salary offered may differ from the expected range of base salary listed above.
