What are your contributions to the team?

  • Maintains the daily operations of the transportation process to ensure the continuous flow of components to guarantee the product line with the least financial impact to the organization.
  • Performs the process of import and export of materials as well as process and control of export of finished product.
  • Follows up on the registration and control of local, national and international carriers.
  • Provides instructions for the shipment of import and export goods, ensuring the proper application of promotional programs and / or customs benefits applicable to Bombardier Aerospace Mexico in all Foreign Trade operations.
  • Promotes continuous improvement in transportation processes.
  • Ensures timely follow-up of import and export traffic, being the main point of contact for internal users (line logistics and supplies), as well as contact with carriers and customs brokers.
  • Ensures shipment consolidation and maintains control of transportation costs.
  • Reports in a timely manner the status of shipments to users.
  • Perform audits to customs brokers and carriers.
  • Maintains a detailed review and control of the expense account.
  • Ensures to maintain monitoring of local, national & international transports.
  • Generates the necessary reports by business unit to provide visibility of expenses.
  • Ensures that local, national & international transportation monitoring is maintained.
  • Generates the necessary reports by business unit to provide visibility of spend.
  • Ensures to report any deviations to the process and support the necessary actions to be in compliance with established processes
  • Manages the payment of carriers in a timely manner (Generates the request and creation of purchase order requisitions and purchase orders)
  • Responsible for preparing the annual budget based on the established methodology.
  • Maintains communication with suppliers “on site”, provides operational support to all shipping areas and business units.
  • Participates and supports in the request for proposal process for local and international transportation.
  • Obtains and provides explanations of information gathered.
  • Works in planning and coordinating with other team members.
  • Works with some guidance from more experienced agents.
  • Problems are resolved after discussion with other team members.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have 3+ years of experience in the field.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, international trade and/or industrial engineering or bachelor's degree.
  • You have an advanced English level (Good comprehension, spoken and written.).
  • You have great personal development skills.
  • You hold great teamwork skills. 
  • You are efficient in managing time and priorities.
  • You are customer focus and can communicate clearly and successfully to ensure a great outcome.
  • You are action oriented.
