What are your contributions to the team?
- Ensure the availability of chemical materials to support production schedules and meet operational requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, material consumption, coverage, and expiration dates to prevent shortages and obsolescence.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure the timely supply of materials.
- Follow up with suppliers, inbound shipments, interplant transfers, and operational requirements.
- Support compliance with chemical material safety regulations and storage requirements.
- Participate in demand planning activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of material planning and supply processes.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, inventory management, or chemical materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in inventory control, consumption tracking, shelf-life management, material replenishment, and supplier coordination.Knowledge of chemical regulations, storage requirements, and safe handling practices of chemical substances is preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency (required) to effectively communicate with global teams and suppliers.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage priorities, and proactively solve problems.
