What are your contributions to the team?
The role of the KAIZEN Continuous Improvement Agent is to drive the optimization of organizational performance through the systematic application of operational excellence methodologies and tools. Their main responsibilities include:
- Improving the value stream within the business, ensuring efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Integrating and promoting process improvement concepts such as Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, Gemba Kaizen, and the Theory of Constraints (TOC).
- Coordinating and implementing continuous improvement methodologies aimed at eliminating waste, reducing process variability, and increasing operational performance, prioritizing those areas with the greatest potential for optimization in terms of cost and quality.
- Assess the maturity of the operational excellence system in collaboration with the operations directors.
- Strengthen workplace organization through the proper implementation and monitoring of the 5S principles.
- Contribute to organizational knowledge management, as well as to capacity building through coaching, training, leadership, and effective communication activities, in alignment with Bombardier’s Operational
- Excellence system and performance management processes.
- Actively participate in the annual planning cycle, using analytical and improvement tools to strengthen operational performance and the achievement of organizational goals.
- Assess the maturity of the operational excellence system in collaboration with the operations managers.
- Strengthen workplace organization through the proper implementation and monitoring of the 5S principles.
- Contribute to organizational knowledge management and capacity building through coaching, training, leadership, and effective communication, in alignment with Bombardier’s Operational Excellence system and performance management processes.
- Actively participate in the annual planning cycle, using analytical and improvement tools to strengthen operational performance and ensure the achievement of organizational goals.
How to thrive in this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience developing continuous improvement projects in the industry.
- Experience with strategic planning methodologies, such as Hoshin Kanri or the Balanced Scorecard framework.
- Excellent written communication skills.Advanced English proficiency.
- Professional certifications in Project Management (PMI) and Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
